In this time of blatant corruption from greed and abuse of power, people are awakening to try to take back control of our world. I can barely contain my desire for justice and peace through equality.

While visiting Russia in 1995, I found a basement bar and it just so happened that the Beatles were on stage playing, Ed Sullivan show era, though they sang in Russian. That’s where I met Natasha… and if you can speak Russian, the last line is for you.

For those living close to the edge that somehow keep their smile as they hold on, but need giving hands to help them cope. The song features the wonderful Kathryn Reig on vocals with me. Originally I was moved to write it after working at a camp for families living with AIDS/HIV, but the song was later put on a benefit CD for hurricane Katrina and I now urge you to make a donation to help the latest hurricane victims.
